About
Henrik Wahlström is a creative director and a well-known face on social media, especially in Sweden where he lives. He started painting at an early age and is self-taught.
Painting and other forms of creativity have been a constant presence in his life, especially during emotionally challenging periods. He lives with bipolar disorder and work through lectures and social media to combat stigmatization and prejudice surrounding mental health issues.
In 2023 he wrote the book "Ups and downs – A Survival Guide for Bipolar Disorder" together with Dr. Katrin Skogberg Wirén. He is also the founder of the campaign Uppochner.nu, a heart symbol that represents an open and accepting attitude toward mental health issues and various diagnoses.
His main goal is to demonstrate that psychiatric diagnoses do not need to define life, whether in the workplace, at home, or elsewhere.
